I LOVE THIS STUFF FOR MY FERRETS. NOT LIKE REGULAR LITTER THAT TRACKS ALL OVER THE PLACE. EASILY SCOOP-ABLE, NOT SMELLY AND DOESN'T MAKE A MESS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR FERRET OWNERS!

We really liked it. The stink wasn't as bad as it has been with other litters we used. The only problem we had was that when it does get urine on it, the litter just crumbles. It makes it very hard to clean up all the dirty litter without dumping the whole litter box,

It's just like the high price litter, it might look a little different but it does the job well.

I gave this litter a fair shot but even after Day 1 I knew I would not like it.
When dry and kicked out of the litter box it is easy to clean up. That's the only nice thing I can say.
It is a huge mess when cleaning the box, which I have to do twice a day because this stinks worse than the urine it does not absorb.
I can't wait to finish the bag and be done with it!
I will also be getting rid of the litter pans I used with this litter because they now have gray stains in the bottom from the litter.

I have used this just about since I started keeping ferrets. This is a great litter for multiple ferrets. I used Marshall's once 'cause I couldn't find this...I wasn't at all happy with it. This litter I only have to change the littler boxes about once a week without scooping. Other litters I've used I had to scoop daily and they still stunk to high heaven. Please use this the low dust is great for you and your pets.

Less expensive and less dusty than the Marshall brand. Non-toxic, recycled materials - all that great environmentally friendly stuff! Absorbs liquid / smell very well. Reall good product.

When I purchased my ferrets at petland, they recommended marshells ( Spelling ? ) litter. While it works and I had no issues with it yesterdays news is MUCH more affordable ! I will be re-ordering.

I usually get all of my ferrets the items they need exclusively from Ferret.com, with the exception of food and litter, and when I found that they carried this litter I was very happy about it. I can get it for less with shipping from this website, than from either Petco or PetSmart! Now if they can start carrying Mazuri Ferret Diet(another Purina Product)Ferret.com would be even more the ULTIMATE site for all your fuzzies needs!

This doesn't help with odor But with the good bye odor and changing the pan every day this litter is perfect. ferrets are not like cats when it comes to covering up there nasties so it will never be odor free and should be changed daily . So with that said this litter is perfectly priced and does the job well.....

I have tried Marshall brand litter, as well as Petco's Planet Petco version of recycled paper pellet litter. When I noticed that ferret.com stocked Yesterday's News - I had to try it. I have always heard good things... so, 10 bucks for a 15 pound bag is a great deal, I had nothing to lose by ordering it.
On to the product...
the pellets are super absorbent. I scoop out my ferret's litter box daily, but try to stretch out the litter by dumping out the entire box weekly. With the previous brands, I had to dump the box bi-weekly because the smell of urine was overwhelming. I haven't encountered any foul smells since using Yesterday's News.
Definitely a great litter, and you get your money's worth. Highly recommend and will definitely be reordering in the future! :)
