Too high in sugar!, 2/19/2016

Elsie from

This supplement is primarily corn syrup, malt syrup, cane molasses, and "gelatin by product" - these are the first four ingredients! Additionally, the vitamins contained in it are negligible. Please, please, please do a product or drug look-up prior to purchasing. If your fur baby is sickly or not eating correctly, attempt homemade duk soup, Oxbow Carnivore Care, or Nupro. A meat-based supplement is much safer.

Terribly unhealthy, 2/2/2016

raynebc from

Sugar pastes like Nutri-cal and Ferretvite are among the absolute unhealthiest things you can give to a ferret. Just to set expectations, corn syrup like what's in this is what you'd use only in emergencies to bring a ferret out of a critical hypoglycemic condition.

Tomlyn Nutri-Cal Dietary Supplement for Ferrets, 11/16/2015

Vonnie from Albuquerque, NM, USA

My little ones "Ferrets" love this supplement. It's actually what I use to LURE them OUT from under our couch when their in that Dead Sleep. I put a little on the cap and begin to BLOW the smell of the supplement "Deep Under/Down" into their little sleeping noises. Poof! Their up and OUT!!! Works every time. Hee Hee Thanks Yvonne Parant of 3 Ferrets :)

Both of my ferrets love this product. They both have shiny and healthy fur. This has been a favorite supplement for my current and past ferrets.

Great Vitamins Your Ferret Will Love!, 9/18/2014

Antwan33 from Fairfield, OH, USA

My ferret just loves these vitamins and he thinks he's getting a treat when we give them to him. Our little ferret is very picky and won't eat a lot of food and treats with meat flavor, so these vitamins really help with his diet. He's a junk food junky that likes salty, sweet and fruity snacks! I would definitely recommend these vitamins if you have a ferret that's stressed, ill or just a picky eater. These vitamins really boost my ferret's energy a lot and keep him healthy!

Ferret absolutely loves, 8/14/2013

lilxbit84 from Fredericksburg, VA, USA

Our ferret absolutely loves this stuff. It gives him nutrients while keeping him at ease and busy while we clip his toe nails. :) Makes life great when having a ferret in your family.

Great tasty treat, 7/25/2013

H777 from Colorado

My 2 ferrets love this stuff and I usually hand feed it to them almost daily. On occasion, they go into their moods and go through periods where they aren't interested at all, but they like it more often than not. And, for my skinny ferret, I like being able to give him this high calorie treat since it has the vitamins and ferretone in it since he is picky about when he eats ferretone whereas my rather chubby ferret loves to lap it up anytime...only thin is that I usually need to squeeze some on my finger and let them lick it off...if I leave it on a small dish, the chubby ferret will hog it all! It is rather sticky and goopy so beware if your ferrets like to wipe their chins on the carpet like mine do!

My Ferrets LOVE this!, 7/12/2013

MissMoxxie from Columbus, OH, USA

Bought this especially for my one ferret who has cancer and has been losing weight, by they all loved it after I convinced them to try it. Its easy to just let them lick some out of the tube, or perfect for mixing into food and duk-soup for added calories and nutrient boost. Bought two tubes and definitely will purchase more!

Nutri-Cal, 5/16/2011

graceytdj from Johnson City, TN

I use this all the time. It gives them an extra calorie boost if they aren't eating well or just as a treat. I also found they love or hate it.
