Great for my allergic dog!, 3/27/2014

JaqiO from Cambridge, MA, USA

Since my dog was a puppy he has been a very itchy boy. As a mutt with both Boxer and German Shepherd I knew he would be prone to skin allergies. I avoid all foods with any chicken in them and he is much better off. Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream is a great option for him! Always $10+ less than other options without chicken and he loves it. The salmon gives him a lovely coat as well.

He loves it!, 11/24/2012

KAMILA GDOWIK from Queens, NY

I have a beagle puppy and he loves this food and I love the brand the only complaint I have is that the food smells alittle since it is made of salmon and can sometimes make him have smelly breath. Otherwise it's a great grain free dry food that is good for dogs since it contains no fillers! I'm excited for him to try the other favors!

Good Entry Level Grain Free, 5/26/2012

sisu from Texas

Several premium grain free foods as well as TOTW have been part of the food rotation for several years. TOTW is a good, basic, entry level grain free food. It is not as high in protein or calories as some of the premium grain free foods which may work best for many dogs and their owners. TOTW is one of the most cost effective grain free foods available. My 3 beagles have no digestive problems with this food, their coats shine and they enjoy the taste. Be aware that TOTW is a Diamond brand food. Diamond has had quality control problems for months and has recently undergone a large recall due to Salmonella causing human illness. The results of the FDA inspection can be found online.

Great Food, Great Price!, 1/16/2012

KIRSTIE BECK from Spanish Fork, Ut

When I first got my pom, I started her on Iams, it was alright for while, then I switched her and her sister onto Science Diet. No problems until about six months after, loss of coat, and dull eyes. I switched to Blue Buffalo, great food, way pricey, and they don't really like it. Then Wellness, they love this food, but way pricey. Then Taste Of Wild. This is an amazing food, and they kept coming back. Great price to, switching them to this for good.

Great ingredients, reasonably priced, 1/12/2012

Kristina from Downers Grove

I am super particular about what I give my dogs - both with sensitive stomachs. Most "grain-free" products are too rich for their stomachs and give them gas. I look for: No Corn, No Wheat, No By products; as well as a healthy grain like brown riceis the healthiest, or potato. My favorites (I also like to give them a variety, so I switch flavors) are the Taste of the Wilderness, Chicken Soup, and Bench and Field Organic. All of these are reasonably priced, easy to digest and Really Good for them. (my dogs aren't too picky, so I can't speak to the flavor-factor)

Great food, 10/3/2011

Rafiki2855 from Chicago, IL

My rat terrier is allergic to chicken. It is hard to find a fish based, grain free food that doesn't have chicken meal in it. This food fits the bill. I also have a chocolate lab and have had no skin or ear issues using this food. I recommend grain free food to everyone I talk with about pet food.

Taste of the Wild dry food, 9/9/2011

karetz from Newton, NJ

When we adopted our dachshund a year ago this was to food that she had been eating while being fostered. She LOVES it..and growls at her bowl if I try to sneak in another brand! Our vet likes it as well and suggested we keep Daisy on the Call of the Wild for our wild little doxie!
