Finally, a bowl that's big enough for large dogs.

This bowl definitely slowed down our black lab/hound mix pup, and he actually flips over the bowl to dump out what he can't get to. BUT! In addition to having an insatiable appetite, he's also a chewer, and he managed to chew off the black plastic "treads" along the edge of 2 of the 4 feet on this bowl before I took it away. So if you have to leave your dog unsupervised with his food bowl for any amount of time, and he's a chewer, I don't recommend this bowl. Luckily this was very cheap, so I don't feel bad about throwing it away.

Faith tends to eat like a vacuum. This helps her to slow down and that is very important. this is a great bowl

I purchesed this for our 7 month old Lab puppy that was inhaing her food. It works good, slows her down, and she even chews some of her food now! The only down side is that it's lightweight and not really skid proof, so she pushes it around while she's eating. I would still recommend, as it does the job.

Order the right size for your dog's snout. These bowls are not returnable (at your cost) once they are used.

I purchased these for my two beagles. They no longer inhale their food and they even have less gas! I have tried everything and these work the best!

Lost my 8yr old Malamute/Wolf to bloat a few yrs ago because he ate too fast. Wish I would've had this to put in his elevated dish holder. Now, I use this with elevated dish holder for my golden retriever and the Rescue/Foster goldens I work with in our Group.

We had to wait for this back-ordered bowl... and it was worth it! Ruby (Black and Tan Squirrel Terrier) loves it and eats a lot slower - and I think she loves the challenge of it. We ordered the medium bowl which holds one cup of dry food just fine (she eats twice a day). She's quite the chewer and has not attempted to chew this very durable bowl - she just licks it clean.

My dogs are notorious for wolfing down their food. These bowls work great at getting them to clam down and eat a tad slower. Each of my dogs receive 1 and a quarter cup of their food at each feeding and it JUST fits inside a medium sized bowl so if you dogs serving size is larger than that, you'll want one of the larger sized bowls.
