It's been 11 months now, and this ball is by far my 2 year old labs favorite toy. She has chewed through every other toy we have given her within hours, but this is indestructible. The rope was gone after about 4 months, but it doesn't matter to her, she still carries this around EVERYWHERE. It's the first thing she grabs in the morning. She never tires of it, plays soccer with it, tosses it, jumps on it, chews it, I swear it's her best friend!

I have 2 "destructo-dog" Labs and this is their favorite toy. They managed to get the rope out and bite a hole in it, but they still play with it. The beauty of this ball is that it doesn't collapse if it gets a hole in it and can still be thrown or kicked for active play.

Our dogs have ignored us since they got this toy. When they are playing with it NOTHING else matters. After about six months they were able to tear the rope out but we were able to replace it with another one and put in bigger knots so it won't be coming out again.

my staffie was delighted with the ball! she played with it for about two weeks. Finally, she started gnawing at the letters "jolly" and a hole developed. Now there is a large gaping hole on one side of the ball, tons of teeth marks, but the rope is intact and she carries everywhere!

My husky/shepard mixes LOVE this toy. It's the first thing they grab when we go outside. My one prefers to throw it and toss it up by the rope while my other will carry the toy by the ball part around the yard while chasing his brothers. He also likes to play tug with it, with us. My one is a hard chewer; he has made some good teeth marks in it, but hasn't been able to tear the ball apart. I'm ordering a new one now for indoor use, but the old one, we've had for months, is still very usable.

My Chocolate lab typically has any toy we give him torn apart with in a half hour of receiving it. Not with this one. He's played with this Jolly Ball for weeks now. He loves running around with this ball and bouncing it off the ground.

I have bought many toys for my 214Lbs. English Mastiff. He's destroyed plenty of toys in his time (including some that aren't his) and this has lasted for close to a year now! He loves taking it swimming with him!

This is a winner at my house..I have 7 dogs and it is the ultimate pool toy BUT the rope can be pulled through the hole and is a royal pain to get it back through. When you have two very large dogs playing tug somethings gotta give and since it won't be either one of them then it's the rope.

My girl is on the destructive side when it comes to toys. Her eyes lit up when she saw this toy. I saw her running laps in the yard with the rope in the mouth. But her destructiveness got the best of the toy. After a couple weeks she chewed the rope out and it was all over. Good for supervised play and putting it up later.

This is the only toy that can hold up to my 2 year old black lab. We take this everytime we go to the dog park. He dives in the creek for it and carries all the way through the park. I am ordering my second one.

My Rottie ate through the rope and had it off within a day! The ball has held up great though and he loves carting it around the house. If you are worried about your strong chewers and rope I would not get this toy. Otherwise the ball part has been great!

This toy is my rotweiller's favorite. It stands up to his chewing and we play with it every day. I highly recommend this toy if you're looking for a tough product to withstand throwing, chewing and tug of war.

My dog loves this toy. We bought the 8 inch size for our St. Bernard puppy, Titan, and it is his favorite toy. The rope through the middle of the ball is soft cotton and great for his tender puppy gums. After about 6 months, the rope is looking really tattered, but is not destroyed yet. Our St. Bernard is now big enough to get the 8 inch ball in his mouth and carry it around by the ball- which is a heavy duty, yet playable rubber that is holding up pretty well. I'm ordering another so that when he finally does destroy the one he's got, he won't have to go without.

If you only can buy one, get this one; it won't take your dog long to get the rope out, but the ball itself squishes but doesn't perforate when chewed. My English Mastiff Chico got one when he was a puppy of about 45 pounds. He's going to be two in March, weighs over 200 lbs., and the ball is no longer round, but sort of muffin-shaped. No holes, he still loves it, and I'm buying another for when this one finally bites the dust, whenever that may be!

I have had this ball for two diiferent dogs. They all seem to love it, but are very aggressive with it, and other things/people afterwards. it sort of affects their behavior negatively, even though they really love it.

This was the one ball that my boxer puppy could not pop or destroy. She loves to play tug with it and other dogs bigger than her and loves to play by herself. Ultimate 2 toys in 1.

We got this toy for our German Shepherd puppy last year. He is now 19 months and still adores the ball. It didnt take him much time to get the rope out but it just became a whole other toy he liked to play with. Our new puppy absolutely loves this ball now. Looks like we need to get another one.

My year-old Aussie absolutely loves this toy! He destroyed the regular Jolly Ball, but this one he cannot put a hole in. He grabs it every time he wants to play, which is a lot! It's a great toy!

My doberman has had the 8" ball for about 3 years and it has not deflated. She tore the rope out right away and has a few rips in it, but it's her favorite outdoor toy and she plays with it daily. Great value!!

My 11 month old lab LOVES this ball, everytime her goes outside that is the first thing that he goes to play with. The long rope is great for throwing it or durable, he can usually chew a toy up in a few days and we have had this for a few months and it only has teeth marks in it!I would reccommend this to anyone that has a dog that like to play ball!!

My Berner loves this toy. The rope is nice and long and she loves to swing it around and bash it into things. Best outside. Also great for two dogs. The rubber is initially very hard, but gets softer with use.

I just LOVE these! My great danes have a passion for balls and ropes and this is actually large enough and tough enough for a big dog to play with weve had simular ones that do not play well for big dogs but this solid core construction means no ball punctures so it lasts longer and is easier to replace worn rope if need be

This toy not only passed the test it now holds the standard to what I now compare all dog toys to. I love that my dog loves it and it is now Dona approved, which if this toy holds up under her playchew needs nothing will. Hours of fun and keeps on going, that includes the dog. High expectations from my red heeler.

My Shepherd Rowdy played with this ball non-stop. I would have given it 5 stars except that the rope came out when he was swinging it around. If you could fix that he and I would be very grateful. Thanks!

I have been searching for an indestructable large dog toy for my Mastiff Pit Bull mix.. he loves to play and has gone through several heavy duty rubber toys and many soccer balls. This toy has given him hours of non stop fun, he has chewed the ball up quite a bit, but it still rolls! He can play with this by himself, and loves to fling it by the rope and race to retrieve it. This is also his toy of choice to sleep with, I will have to purchase another to keep on hand, should this one be destroyed... Rusty gives it the paws up!
another favorite is the hard plastic push and play ball

My Lab mix puppy destroyed 3-4 soccer balls and a basketball in less than 4 months before I found the Jolly Romp-n-Roll Ball. She has the large and small balls because the large ones rope gets covered in snow and ice and the smaller one is easier to throw. This is her favorite toy and it is a hit at the dog park too.
We give this a 2 thumbs and 4 paws up review

This is my pitbulls favorite toy. He can keep himself amused for hours with this! The rope only lasted a few days, but he still plays with the ball all the time. The ball is not inflated so it cannot be popped.

My lab destroyed the rope in a few days but ball is great. He loves it. It cant deflate and chases and rolls it all over the yard. He also plays goalie with it, he can stop the ball no matter how hard or how far you kick it to him. Great by for an active dog!

My Labs love these balls. They can pull the rope out though. One dog has the ball and one has the rope and the rope comes out easily. It still works fine without the rope and with the holes can be tossed like a bowling ball. They bounce well and the 8 inch is the right size to catch in the air. They can easily chew up the ball (made of hard plastic) so don't leave it with them...
