Frontline for Horses, 6/17/2008

Allison Goodman from Mora, MN

I use Frontline for our cats and dogs because it works so well. When asking our vet for advice in tick control for horses, I asked if there was a Frontline for horses. The spray is not labeled for use on horses, but my vet said it was safe to use. This is my first season using the spray. I have not found a tick on my horses since I sprayed them! I only applied 7-8 pumps per horse (fetlocks, tail base, under forelock, down mane, and withers). My friends are now buying Frontline spray for their horses.

Vet approved, 6/2/2008

Xebby from Albuquerque

I work in a vet clinic and we recommend this product to many clients, especially those who have several dogs and can't afford to buy the Frontline drops for each dog. It works great and our clients have been very happy with the spray. A great money saver but also works almost instantly. We keep a bottle in the clinic to treat dogs who come in with a flea or tick infestation and the ticks fall off before the dog goes home. I even use it on my own dog and she is a sheep herder who comes in contact with many sheep who have ticks. I have never found a tick on my own dog using this spray every 30 days.

STAY AWAY, 5/1/2008

Brian from Houston, TX

This stuff smells like nail polish. If you have dogs like ours 40 lb or more, you must spray your dog according to his/her weight 1-2 sprays per pound. We have huskies, very furry, so then we have to wear gloves and scrub it in their fur too. Just stay away it doesn't work all that well... please use the drops 100% more effective.

Affordable and safe, 7/17/2007

Hanna from Austin

Ive been using the spray for over a year now. I bought it initially because I needed a flea preventative that was safe on young kittens and puppies - obviously, Frontline spray fit the bill, literally. Its incredibly affordable in comparison to the drops, and I have not finished a 250 ml bottle with 3 cats and 1 dog all approximately 12 lbs. With the affordability comes a bit of inconvenience, especially if you have long haired wiley cats, but I choose affordability over the inconvenience that it creates. The drops are definitely easier, and pets generally dont mind a few drops as opposed to being doused with stinky spray. It definitely does work for 30 days. None of the animals have had a single problem with fleas with regular applications. Pros: -It works. -Its safe. -Its cheap. Cons: -Its inconvenient. -The animals dont much care for the treatment.

Frontline Spray, 4/15/2007

Angie Hernandez,CVT from Arcola.Il

In multi-pet households, Frontline spray provides excellent protection at a great price. Even though I live in a wooded area and have several cats and dogs, I havent had a flea or tick problem at my household since Frontline came out on the market! Also great for a quick spot treatment when hiking or camping. The only flea and tick control youll ever need!
