My mom got 2 of the 4ft long ones at a pet store for our two goats. After almost a year of HEAVY use, one of the handles broke. The other one is finaly showing some wear after two years!

I ordered two of the 6ft and have 2 of the 4ft for when I walk my two APBT's together. The leashes are strong and are not so stiff they easily slide off the wrist. Was concerned about the clasp before ordering, but the clasp turned out to be strong and operates smoothly. Really great product and nice rich colors.

I highly recommend this lead for anyone with a large dog (50# or more). The double thickness is easy on your hands when they pull for what ever reason. I agree with others on the clasp. It can be released if you grab it the wrong way. However, after more than a year of use it has only happened once for us. We have two 80# Giant Schnauzers and they will give the lead a good work out from time to time.

I have ordered nylon leads for years from dog.com. The quality of the double ply nylon is great but the snap portion is not the strong - pull down type anymore, they've gone to the darkside with the push tab style which is much less stable and the leash often pops off the collar ring with a strong dog.
Hope you guys go back to putting snap bolts on the leashes- cost is minimal, impact is huge!
