I've had ferrets for over 2 years, constantly researching their diet, searching for the best food. Wysong is it. If I could feed them this exclusively I would. It is the best of the best as far as kibble. The only thing that tops it is a raw diet. Though I'm still tweaking the mixture I feed them, Wysong is 2/3 of it. On it, their stools are always solid, their coats are nice, and their energy level is high. The price is a little higher than most, but you get what you pay for. I much rather pay more for food instead of a vet bill. This site is by far the best price and shipping is very reasonable. Autoship is very convenient and easy to use.

My ferrets coats have been softer and they have more energy. However, since switching to this food, they sure do poop twice as much. And I do mean ALOT more.

I recently adopted Moxxie, a 11-week old kit. I have had her on several different foods (starting with Marshalls, as I did not yet know any better) and this is by far the best I have found! She LOVES this food, and will dig it out of the mix and leave the rest. The superior ingredients and the company's dedication makes me extremely comfortable feeding this food to my baby. The slightly higher price is more than worth it!

Since feeding my 3 ferrets on this diet their coats are so much softer. They dont have the musky odor as much either. It is a dark, rich kibble since it derives from alot of meat. I am pleased and feel it is worth the price.

I've been feeding a mix of 8 in 1 Crunchy, Zupreem, Wellness Core, and Evo. Everytime I put Evo in the mix, I noticed my ferrets potty being runny. I finally decided to try something else so I got this food. Their potty is no longer runny and I've noticed that they dont have to eat as much and have more energy than ever. Their coats are soft and fluffy too! It does cost more, but I mix this food with 2 or 3 others so it lasts longer. I will continue to buy this food until I figure out the whole prey/raw diet!

FINALLY, a ferret food that is healthy. Ferrets get their energy from fat, not carbs, so they need meat for protein and energy. The ingredients are perfect and my guy really loves it. It is worth every penny.

Since switching my boys from Evo to Wysong, their health is so much better! They don't get diarrhea, their coats are shiny and thick, they are more active, they love the food. Also, they don't have that musky smell to them. A ferret vet at Colorado State Vet Hospital told me this is the best food you can get if you can't bring yourself to feed them a raw diet. It's a little on the expensive side but I'd rather my guys stay healthy!!

FYI ferrets over 3yrs should not have this much protien. It can cause kidney failure or other health problems.

I started using this after Evo sold out to one of the c*ap pet food companies and their quality declined (my ferrets started getting sick from the Evo). Switched to Wysong and I will NEVER use another brand. Hands down, they have the best quality food, and their customer service is fantastic. One of my ferrets has insulinoma, and the rep at Wysong designed a diet for him free of charge. Yes, their food is expensive but my ferret's health outweighs the expense. Since switching to this food, my boys (I have 7) are more active, alert, their coats are beautiful and they are in great health. I will never use another brand of ferret food. Tip: Order directly from Wysong, they are less money and shipping is fast!

This is the best ferret kibble out there imo. My two look so healthy on it. My female grew her fur back on her tail after eating this. The first 4 ingredients are completely meat based, and you don't see that in other kibbles! A bit pricey, but worth it for the health of your pet, and in the long-run it's less expensive than cheap crap food (less having to go to the vet due to health issues from poor diet). My only wish is that Petsmart and Petco start carrying this food so I can get it faster.
