Love This Product!!, 10/13/2011

LuvmyGSD from Jackson, MS

My 6-year-old German Shepherd Dog has an allergic sensitivity to lamb and beef. Lamb is worse than beef. I am tired of trying to find dry food for my sweetie that has more than "animal by products" in them as the source of protein. This is a little expensive in price, but it is WORTH it!! The savings come from not having to run to the vet because my sweetie is in digestive distress. I Love This Food!!

Great Product!, 4/27/2011

ADogOwner from Toledo, OH

My German Shepherd had such loose stools as a puppy and ended up quite emaciated no matter how much food I gave him. Finally last year he was diagnosed with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency). While he was placed on meds for the rest of his life, I also needed to find a food that would work well with his problem - low fats, and low fiber (grains). The Solid Gold Wolf King food ended up being quite a godsend! My dog loves the food, and the food along with the medication have completely turned his life around. He's put on lots of weight and is living healthy and happy now, and I have this food to thank in part. (Note: I am no vet, so please don't take my word here as some sort of statement that this food will work well with all EPI cases - just saying that it worked with mine! Good luck to you if you have the same)

This food has really helped my great dane!, 10/26/2010

Bobbi from Newark, DE

She's young, only 7 months, and for the first several months of her life she had such loose and frequent bowel movements. I had her on a premium food and my other dogs didn't have this problem. On the advice of the pet store employees, I switched to this food and YAY!!! Solid and normal frequency finally. And she LOVES it, as do my other dogs. Oh and an added plus is all their coats are gorgeous! It really is a great product and about the same price as the food I used to feed.

Wolf King Bison is the best, 7/2/2010

B.Hostetler from

I have 2 chow mix dogs and the one has allergies. Since I found the Wolf King Bison he doesn't have the problems with his skin and sneezing. They both love it and I add a little of plain yogurt with the food and they just love it.

100% Improvement overall, 2/12/2010

Nancy L. from

For years my dog, a Rottie/Pit Bull/Irish Woflhound mix suffered with horrible food allergies, bleeding skin, hair loss, constant itching and scratching, etc. After many vet visits and treatments including steroidal meds, I found Wolf King. Amazing! All her symptoms disappeared within three weeks. Her skin was totally healed, haircoat restored, the itching and scratching stopped. I now have added a Rottweiler and a Pit Bull to the pack and all three dogs are thriving on Wolf King. I will never buy another brand!

All and All Silver Gold, 9/29/2009

Kristiena Manbeck from Houston

I have a Siberian Huskey and I only try too look for the best of dog foods that i feel will probably taste good to him as well. I also like having strong big and healthy animals. I used to use puriena for all my dogs, but switched to Silver Gold and find that it does better for their coat, his health and his activity. I even bought the same brand for my cat and believe me he is an 18lb cat and looks like a beautiful wild cat even though he is completely domestic. If you would like your animal to look like a natural beautiful creature then i would definitely recommend this brand.

Bravo Solid Gold Wolf King, 8/30/2009

Boulderchick from Boulder Colorado

My East German Czech bred 15 mo old German Shepherd pup was an ugly skinny ribby coatless disaster until I switched him to Wolf King by Solid Gold. After just 3 weeks I see major improvement and even a real coat coming in. I had him on Costco before.

LOVE IT!, 5/18/2009

Amy H from Norman, OK

My Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog (14 months old) loves Solid Gold. I fed him Science Diet, Natural Choice, and BilJac before realizing that he didn't like these foods because they were bad for him. I wanted to switch him to a natural diet and found Solid Gold. He loves it! And it is great for him! I recommend this to anyone who cares about their dogs health.

Solid Gold is the Best, 2/3/2009

Mrs. Lisa Peralta from Honolulu, Hawaii (aka Paradise)

I feed my dogs Wolf Cub and Wee Bits. I have an English Bulldog and Poodle. Both dogs do wonderful on Solid Gold. Their coats are beautiful, no allergies, they love it so feeding time is a breeze. You truely need to try it, it's worth every penny you pay. Less mess to pick up because theres no grains in it. I highly recommend this dog food.

Very Impressed, 12/20/2008

Trey from Greensboro, N.C

I must confess that i was the owner who fed certain foods to my dogs because they were popular. I started to have several problems with food allergies and really dry coats. I did research and i realized that my dogs needed a food with limited ingrediants and completly holistic. I found Wolf King and no more issues. What more can i say

Horrible, 12/6/2008

Brittany from Maryland

I've tried many different foods for my dogs as they have very sensitive stomachs. This one was the worst I've ever used. They had loose stools and gas while on this food. I am not saying the quality is bad, but for dogs with sensitive stomachs, this is NOT your food!

Fantastic, 12/4/2007

Paul from Chicago, IL

I had previously tried a number of the different higher end foods, as my SheppardBeagle mix suffered dry skin and food allergy irritation repeatedly. On recommendation from the pet store, I tried Wolf King and his irritation was gone in about 10 days. I will never change to another food.

Superior Food, 10/23/2007

Stacey from Big Lake, MN

I breed Golden Retrievers and own 3 adult Goldens, one of which has suffered from protein allergies to Chicken and Beef products. We have been using this food for over 1 year now and our allergy prone Golden is doing significantly better and our oldest Golden, almost 10, went from being inactive and wanting to be inside all day to a playful new dog who has no problem being outside with the other two! I highly reccomend this food to all large breed dogs regardless if they have allergies or not...their energy level increases, they have much healthier skin and coats, there is less to clean-up outside and they LOVE their food! Dog.com has the best price around--bar none!!

Good for Sensitive Stomach, 10/6/2007

Margaret Eldridge from Tampa

My Rottie was on Nutro Natural Large Breed Adult, which seemed to be good for his coat, but he vomited frequently. I switched him to Solid Gold Wolf King, and the problem was solved! The food has a strong fish smell from the salmon, but other than that it is worth the money.

Great Quality Food, 8/27/2007

Jennifer from Massachusettes

I have been feeding my dogs Wolf King for over 6 months and this is the first dry food that they absolutely love. Their vet says what great shape they are in. I have noticed the benefits in their coats and its nice to know that they are getting the nutrition they need. I highly recommend it. Paying a little more for this food is well worth it.

Wolf King, 6/18/2007

Tom from Wapwallopen, PA

I have 3 dogs, a Rottweiler, RottiePit BullIrish Wolfhound mix and a Chihuahua. My mixed breed suffered terribly from food allergies until I found Wolf King. Since being on this food she has had no further problems. Even my Chihuahua loves this food and has been thriving on it. My vet tells me that my dogs are in great shape. Wolf King may cost more than the average dog food, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I will never feed anything else to my dogs. Great product!!!

Little poop proves how much she retains, 6/17/2007

Wanda from Middletown, CT

I watched my Shepherd poop out loads of mountains. I switched to Solid Gold Wolf King, and I cant believe how tiny they got! I shortly learned it was because of how many ingredients her body retains. So, I am delighted with this food, and I know I am saving money by feeding her stuff that does not go through as quickly as it goes in

The Best..., 4/11/2007

Gina from Oroville, CA.

My Weimaraner has been on first wolf-cub and now wolf-king. His coat is so shiny and soft. His eyes are clear and he is sooo healthy! My vet says hes in perfect shape. Not to mention fewer stool to pick up. Kind of pricey but you get what you pay for and no worries about unidentified toxins or recalls in this food. Great product!!

Impressive , 11/7/2005

Deb George from Tampa, Florida

I have a puppy mill rescue golden that I adopted at 14 weeks. I immediately put her on sold gold wolf cub and now, at almost 2 years of age, she has been on solid gold wolf king for one year with the solid gold seameal added for probiotics. Her coat is beautiful, and she is extremely healthy unlike her litter mates, who I have been told, suffer from severe allergies. There is something to be said for superior nutrition.
