I have 3 Fuzzies, all Marshall's, and was originally feeding them a cheaper brand of food because I have a picky eater. A few weeks ago, her second health scare made me decide to try to switch it up. I was nervous at first because I thought she either wouldn't eat it or it would make her sick. As soon as I put it into their cage, my oldest male came straight out of his hammock and started eating it! None of them have had any issues what so ever and all of their coats are fuller and super shiny. My little girl even put on some weight :) I am very satisfied with this product to say the very least.

My daughter and I got a young Marshall's ferret, and he loves his Marshall's ferret diet. He looks good and he is very healthy.

I think this food is great. We have had our ferret for a little more than one year now and all he has ever eaten is Marshall Premium Ferret Food. Our vet says he is in great health. He will not even eat treats at this point, he only likes Marshall Premium Ferret Food. As long as he is healthy and happy I will strongly recommend this food. I am thinking that a full year and half or so of having this as sole diet is a pretty good testament to the quality of this food. (my only qualifier for my review is, I don't have anything else to compare against, as our ferret really likes this food and we haven't used others - I am sure there are othe good foods out there, but we will be sticking with Marshall)

Nutritionally not the best, and it does make them and their poop smell like fish. I wouldn't feed this as a sole food source. My ferrets, all Marshall's ferrets, love this stuff, so I mix it in with other better quality foods. I regularly mix a couple of high quality foods together as recommended by the locsl Ferret Rescue. When one of my little guys got sick with juvenile lymphoma, this was the only thing we could get hime to eat. I guess it was ferret comfort food.

My ferret has eaten this food and only this food since I got him when he was a month old. Slim is beautiful and happy. His physical activity has not changed over the course of his three and a half years. I contemplated foods to choose from even before he was born! This one is the best choice. His diet also includes Marshall's Bandit treats, Ferretone skin & coat supplement, dried and fresh fruits, and skim milk (sparingly.)

first of all, my ferrets all love this food. being marshall ferrets, that's to be expected but even after being switched for years they still come running at the smell of this when i get a new fuzzy and buy some for the transition. each food has it's pros and cons. i'll compare the ingredients of this to purina dog chow for dogs. i wouldn't mind putting this into my mix, except it has fish in it, and makes their poop STINK

I have a ferret who is almost 4 years old and we've been given him this food the whole time; however the problem with this food is that it makes your ferret have an upset stomach now and then, they are less active and less playful. Also your ferret poops so much that you don't even want to go near them and there cage ends up stinking like crazy. You're better off going with Evo or Zupreen.

Don't waste your money on this. If you do a little research you can figure out what ferret food needs and what it shouldn't have, after that you should read the ingredients on this food. The company itself is sick, they own a ferret mill and they probably feed their ferrets this. If you want to feed them Marshall's then you should try buying ferretvites then their coat can still be healthy. Just don't buy Marshall's food, it's not good for your fuzzies at all.

I bought this at a petsmart knowing the better quality a ferret food, the less doo to clean up. Well this was the price of a very good quality food, without it actually being good quality. The ferrets poo almost more than they eat so I am switching to EVO. Do not waste your MONEY or TIME on food that is awful for the little guys. This was because they had GRAIN in it (corn) CARNIVORES DON'T EAT GRAINS!!!!!

This is the worst food you can give your ferrets! Just look at the ingredients! Only 38% meat! Marshall sells terrible food and treat products for your ferrets. The best food to feed your ferrets is EVO and that is the only food I will ever feed my ferrets. I have 6 fuzzies and their all happy and healthy because of it.

My fuzz butt will be 4 years old shortly and this food is all he has known. When kits, the food should be mixed with water and it does have a less than desirable odor. My experience is once old enough for the food without water, 95% of the odor is gone.

I have 30 ferrets. Rescues will give me the ones that are sickly or have problems. By using Marshalls, grinding it up to make a soup, feeding and maintaining a good diet I've seen miracles happen. Marshall's food is a wonderful way to help keep these special ones healthy. I highly recommend it to anyone who has ferrets or wants to get a ferret.

I have 4 ferrets and when I started with just one we got marshall food for him and he loves it and has loved it ever since. My boys are ages 2-4 yrs and they have all been feed this food. Their coats are beautiful and the vet is always happy to see them because they look so healthy. Of course some vets will always tell you that the food you're giving is crap. I work for a vet myself and she always complains about the brand purina and praises science diet because that;s what they sell. And then you go someplace else and they complain that science diet is the worst and so on. However Marshall Ferret diet is great and I have never had a problem with my fuzzies. One of them was given to me and his coat was very dry and rough and now his coat is gorgeous. I also add the ferretone supplement to their food and they go nuts. They also love all of the Marshall treats flavors. And this website has the best price for sure! Do not waste your money at the pet store because it's ridiculous! I love ordering items from this site.

We had a ferret before going to a pet store to purchase a new one. We switched our food to Marshall brand to keep our guarantee and help our new ferret adjust. This food makes our ferret smell like it's cage hasn't been cleaned in weeks. This food is a waste of money because after feeding it to your ferret you can't stand to go near it!

We now have three fuzzy babies and I got tired of paying out the nose for the 4 lb bags. We would go throught them in no time. So I purchased this bag and needless to say I just reordered my 2nd bag. It's a wonderful way to buy in bulk. Love the prices here on ferret.com too.

When I bought my first ferret, I asked the pet store what brand of food they use and they said Marshalls. So I bought a big bag, thinking that what the pet store feeds their ferrets had to be the best.. WRONG! Now of course my ferret liked it because that's what he was use to.. but little did I know that when I would take my ferret to his vet, I would get lectured about just how terrible this food is for my poor ferret. Glad I know, not only do they use the "ends and pieces"- (pretty much the gross leftover pieces of meat that could not be used for human consumption and should have been thrown), but they also use this food for animal testing. That's right, animals that are being tested in labs get fed this disgusting food. It also was shown to cause cancer in ferrets. I asked my vet what the best dry food is and he said Evo. I switched my ferrets food and he is healthy and happy and loves it.

I have had 11 ferrets over the last 12 years and currently have 3. I recently switched to this Marshall food after using almost every brand available. This food makes thier stool smell horrible!!! You would think I had 500 ferrets in my house. Will never use this again. Now I know why they make the Bi-Odor!!! Why should I add that junk to the water and make it taste bad!!! Just switch the food and you will see the difference.

I have 2 Marshall ferrets whom are 3 months old and they eat a lot so I was buying the 7 pound bags of this food at my local Petsmart for $24.99. It was so expensive to feed my babies that I was about to switch to another brand. Then I found this site and wow! You save about $70 (including shipping costs) when you buy this 35 pound bag over the 7 pound bags! Talk about a good deal?! Now, I refuse to feed my ferrets anything other than this food. They are really healthy and LOVE Marshall Premium Ferret Diet.

my newest little one, marley, would only eat this food because it's what her previous owner gave her. i wound up mixing it with Evo & Zupreem (which is what i had been giving my kids) & all of my fuzzies love it. it's definitely a good deal buying this & then mixing it with the more expensive higher protein foods for a great ferret trail mix! (the three foods also all have different shapes so my kids will pick out their favorite shapes depending on their mood).

I have four fuzzies that are 7, 4, 3 and 2 and all four have been fed nothing but Marshall food their whole lives. As evidenced by my 7-year-old, it keeps them healthy and happy! This is definitely the best price for buying Marshall foods in bulk, and the best place to buy bigger quantities of the food.

I have had my ferrets on this diet since I bought them. It is a high quality diet and trusted brand. However, the price is a little bit much. Although my babies do deserve the best, and that is why I buy it.

Marshall Farms Ferret Food is better than some but it is lower in fat than ferrets need, is contains a lot more fish than other food and the bottom of the bag has a lot of dust which should be sifted out with a screen or strainer. I use it as a mix-in with better quality food (TF) just for variety.

I love the Marshalls ferret food line for my fuzzys. they have a constant food that doesn't offer tid bits of different color dyed food for them to pick through and waste the rest. and I love ferret.com because they help me save a lot of money buying online. especially in our economic crisis this makes taking care of our beloved pets a little less stressfull.

This brand is made especially for ferrets. It gives them an exact amount of proteins, nutrients, crude fat, sat fat, you name it. I've noticed a healthier coat from softness to shine. My ferret seems more active, playful, and gluten filled!

I started out with one ferret and moved up to four and they all love Marshall's Food. Our local pet store moved and in a pinch I had to use another brand, my babies started losing weight. I located the new pet store location and now they are happy and healthy again. I found this place online and love the prices. Less than half of what I paid for the same stuff at the pet store.

I bought the biggest bag because this food is so expensive in the smaller bags. I put about a 1/3 of it in a bucket and the rest is wrapped up and covered to prevent dust, germs or anything else. I only have one ferret and she loves the food when it is damp. So a little advice is to add some water to it and mix it up. My ferret likes it at least. Maybe because she is still a baby and the teeth are coming in. Either way, great food, my cat even likes it too. Suggestion: If you are on a budget, go for the big bag and save money. The ferret has to eat for 6-9 years. No sense buying food every 2 months. I bought the 35# bag back in october and I still have about 70% of the food left. Only one ferret though. Buy the bag!

I have a Marshall ferret, from the Marshall Ferret company. This not only means you get a very well balanced, friendly and sweet tempered ferret, but it also means your little fuzzy has been raised and weaned on this food. One day when I ran out of Marshall ferret food I tried switching over to another brand thats was a little less expensive. My ferret developed diarrhea - I thought he just needed a little adjustment time with the new food, but the diarrhea continued even when I bought the 2nd bag of the replacement food. In desperation, and lots of Kaopectate later, I switched back to Marshalls. The diarrhea stopped the next day and hasn't returned. I won't buy anything else ever again - my ferret absolutely thrives off of this food, and his stools don't even smell with this food either! Trust me, this is not true with the replacement food I bought (Nupreem). I wish Marshall's was a little more affordable, but I guess when you find something that works you stick with it!

I found out the hard way that this food is simply the best. I tried saving money by switching to other foods and all 3 of my ferrets started losing their hair, got dry skin and started losing weight. I switched back to Marshall's and they all are healthy again. Needless to say I won't ever feed them another brand again.

We have had 20 ferrets in our home over the years. We have tried many brands of ferret food but Marshall Ferret Diet is by far the best when it comes to weight gain, lowest stool odor, most readily accepted. It also smells yummy!

This food is SOOOOO bad for your ferret, I can't even emphasize it, diet is the most crucial thing that will affect your ferrets life and this is a one way ticket to a short life. Innova EVO is a great kibble, the best out there, and ZuPreem, Totally Ferret is good too. Sheppard & Greene isn't that good.

This food is one of the most worst foods you could ever feed your ferret! Being that it comes from one of the top breeders in the country just makes it that much crazy how bad it really is!! Your ferret should not eat corn, wheat & brewers yeast does more harm than good. Please for the love of ferrets...never feed this to your ferret. They may love the taste but nutritionally you might as well be feeding them dog crap!

This is the only kind of food they will eat. They even turn down chicken for this stuff. I have been feeding mine this ever since I got them, and they look great!! My boy Ricky has got a full thick silver coat, and my other boy Mellow has a great looking brown coat..and there both fat and healthy! =^_^=

I purchased this because 1. It was cheaper than anything I'd bought in the local pet store, 2. because it is a Marshall's product. My 3 fuzzies have never been very fond of their crunchies, but when I put the Marshall's in their dish they went wild over it. I mixed some of the previous brand in with the Marshall's and they eat around it and will only eat the Marshall's.

I've had my four babies for two years now and I had two that would just not grow! they were very small compared to the other two and I always worried about them eating. When I started feeding them Marshall Ferret food, both of them had one heck of a growth spurt! That tells me this food HAS to be good for them! And they LOVE it!

I think all the stuff on the enternet is really cheep some times. But all the stuff we get for my farret isnt cheep we also got it at the store so from now on i will order it from on line because it is cheepre doing it that way. ps a4lb bag of marshall ferret diet food was at the store was 16.89 and when i order it online it was a whole lot cheeper so from now on i will do it that way

I always take my Marshall ferret food when my four ferrets go to a friend's house to play with her eight. Before the night is over her eight ferrets have taken mouthfuls to hide for later. They all love Marshall ferret food and with a 35 pound bag there is lots to share.

This site has the best prices I ever seen. In pet store for only .26 oz there marshall food is $ 10.00. On here its half the price. So I get the 7 lb bag for only about $ 14.00 on here. For a 4 lb at th pet store its $ 32.99. I won't ever buy my ferret food at the pet store anymore. I will always order mine off the ferret.com website. I love this site and their prices!!!

Raising ferrets for years, I used to offer little handfuls as treats. My guys would run and hide the treats or eat them in seclusion. Took me awhile to wise up!!! I am now feeding Marshall Ferret Diet steady for 4mos. Weight gain, vitality and increased energy! GREAT REDUCTION IN ODOR TOO!!!!

I found my ferrets I've had in the past and this one now. All love this food, more so when added to a good brand of catfood. I recently added mine to Frisky's seafood blend. It's got all the nutrients they need, plus they get an extra bonus in flavor and other nutrients.

In our opinion this brand of ferret food is the best money can buy. We have three ferrets and weve tried different brands of premium foods. With other brands we had weight problems. Then we were told about Marshalls ferret diet. Well never change to a different brand ever. Our ferrets took to the food instantly. Now one of our ferrets is a whopping 3 pounds.

My ferrets LOVE this food! I have two soon to be five Marshall ferrets and this is the only food they will eat it has kept my two four year old happy and healthy. I tried other food but always went back to Marshall. I was not satified by many other foods.

My ferret, Critter, always has a full thick and furry coat when she eats this food. i tried giving her a diff brand because it was cheaper and i noticed she lost weight...so shes back on the marshall diet. its a great food! she loves it more and i put her vitamins on it and it serves as a treat too! absolutely thrilled with the results of this diet! Critter is about a year old and looks nice and thick with this food! very recommended! worth the money most def!!

This is the ONLY food my ferrets will eat they dont eat any table foods. And it seems this is all they need. Theyre healthy and have nice, shiny, thick coats. This size bag is such a deal even with the additional shipping costs. The 7lb bags at my local pet stores costs between $18$21. Im getting 4lbs more for about the same price.

My ferrets love this food, I have only tried one other ferret food and they will eat this all first, if nothing left then they eat the other food.

I switched from the dry cat food their previous owner was feeding them and they could not be happier. They turn their nose to just about anything "cat" now.

Ive been using this brand of food since I started owning ferrets and it seems to give them all the energy they need plus some. All 3 of my ferrets are happy and healthy!

My ferrets love this food. I was able to add some water and make it soft for my baby ferret and he ate it like crazy. This is the only food both of my ferrets have been on and they are both very healthy and have soft shiny coats. Ferret.com gives you a great deal. This food is a little pricy in the stores.

Ar Mommy is lukking for her credet card, so wee (uss littel ferrets) ar hellping. Wee love Marshall Farms bedder than any other ferret fooooooood[-oops, sorrie,sumtimes ar feets slips on the kees]}.Also, it seeeeems wee hav to visit the vet mor wen wee git other brans (an wee dont like to go ther!!!). Ar Mommy has vet bills that seeem tu pruve it. Ar Mommy is bi-ing mor MF ferret food for uss and bi-ing sum for ar pore littel frens at the ferret shelter (Yu shud tu}. I ordered this product after comparing price and company name. I thought Marshall is a great company because they have lots of amount of products. Anyway, my baby love this. Actually it smells good and makes me hungry. and very crispy, so my ferret thinks it's a treat.

This brand of food is absolutely great. It keeps my ferrets extremely healthy, full of energy, and keeps the shine on their coats. Do not be discouraged by the price! Ferret.com offers Marshall-Brand ferret food at a fraction of the price of PetCo, PetsMart, etc. FIVE STARS!
